Biographical/Historical note
Wilfred Bevan retired at the age of 56, and although not a silversmith, he was asked by the Parochial Church Council of St Cadoc's, Caerleon, to make a chalice. Between 1976-2010 Mr Bevan designed and made churchplate for parishes throughout the Diocese of Monmouth, as well as some external parishes.
