Also contains (pp. 1-63) a history of the church and of the Baptist cause in the surrounding area (in Welsh), and notes of significant events in the church’s history up to 1886, including some baptisms. The writer, Rev. William Jones (minister from 1874 to 1891) comments that any earlier Minute Book had not survived, but that in any case none had been kept from the beginning of his ministry (1874) until 1886.
