Probate of will of John Jones of Par. Trevethin. His body to be buried at the Quaker's burying ground at Pen-y-Garn, par. Trevethin. Devising to his mother if he die childless a messuage and 4 parcels of land called Tir Croseblethyn (c.24 c(overs) ), in par. Mamhilad; 2 parcels of land called Gworlod Isha and Tir Adam Lloyd Ucha c.9 covers) in par. Mamhilad and a messuage and tenement of land called Tir-y-Wain Fawr (c. 13 covers), in par. Trevethin; to his wife Martha a parcel of land called Tir Reece Evan (c. 12 covers) for life if he die childless or if he have issue during her widowhood only and thereafter to his mother; after his mother's death to Capel Hanbury of Pontypool, esq; subject to the payment of £80 pounds to be divided between the 4 daughters of his uncle Azariah Morgan; to his wife the occupation of his land which he leases from John Hanbury, late of Pontypool, esq.
